Atlético Madrid is waiting for Roma to offer a €20 million loan with an obligation to buy, while the Giallorossi prefer more flexibility in the deal structure. The clubs remain in active discussions to find common ground. Roma are also open to including a conditional obligation to buy, albeit structured non-automatically and tied to complex parameters.
After reaching an agreement with the Spanish club, Roma will seek a deal with the player, who has already given the green light to a move to the capital. The 25-year-old forward has made his preference clear and rejected interest from Atalanta while he waits for the Giacomo Raspadori Roma transfer to materialise.
Raspadori joined Atlético Madrid from Napoli in August 2025 for €22 million on a five-year contract. He scored six goals with one assist in 26 Serie A appearances for Napoli during the 2024-25 season before his summer move to Spain.
